NTA’s Countermeasures
- Suspicious Claims Reporting Portal (Launched: April 26) Reports received: Over 1,500 Focus: Fake leaks, impersonators, unauthorized access
- Platforms asked to:
- Take down flagged accounts
- Share admin details for legal action
Legal Warning
Under Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024:
- Offences: Spreading falsehoods, impersonating officials, paper leaks
- Penalties: Imprisonment + Heavy fines
